Humor Chic Italy News – Confindustria: Fashion is no longer a symbol of Italy. R.I.P. Italian Fashion

The Confindustria Report: the alarming state of  Italian Fashion. Exports falling steadily.

Founded in 1910, Confindustria is the leading organization representing the manufacturing and service industries in Italy. It represents 149,288 companies of all sizes with a total of 5,516,975 employees. Confindustria represents the needs and ideas of the Italian economic system in relation to the principal political and administrative institutions, including Parliament, the government, trade unions and other social forces. Its President Giorgio Squinzi recently pointed out that Italy is continuing to decline, but the most alarming news is that the product specialization of Italian manufacturing is changing radically, as revealed by the June report on industrial output from the Confindustria Study Centre.
What has always been one of Italy’s strengths, fashion-related goods, fell from 21.5% to 13.9% of exports between 1991 and 2011. In the same period, for example, "the more technology-intensive products and those embodying economies of scale rose from 60.8 to 66.9%.”
This is very bad news if you think that the usual shady representatives of Italian fashion continue to insist that the Italian system is still a world beater. Well we at Humor Chic, despite the laughter it aroused, in all these years, with excellent inside information, have always told the truth and left the others to utter huge amounts of horseshit. Now, as we wait for the next Milan Fashion Week, we are very curious to see what new model of diapers will be wrapped around the old ... organizers .....
After this hard truth … at this point all that remains is to wait for the next move ... by dear Auntie Anna Wintour!!!
